We shall report to the Company's management any material weaknesses which come to our notice in our observation in the Company's system of internal control. However, our audit shall not be relied on to disclose defalcation or other irregularities.
VALUE-ADDED SERVICES
We differentiate our Company by adding value to our clients by using Customer Relationship Management (CRM). CRM is a process of learning more about customers' needs and behavior in order to develop stronger relationship with them.
This is the knowledge economy and we are using Internet as a business tool in providing excellent service to our clients. Accountants, just like other professionals, will have to become technology-savvy. Usage of information technology or computers, e.g. e-mails, scanner are strongly encouraged. This is to enhance the efficiency of our service delivery. Updates on Tax Budgets, accounting standards/issues, economic reports or other matters of interest will be sent to clients via e-mails. Information and knowledge are also shared among a group of proactive practising accountants which we called a 'Strategic Group of Accounting Firms'.
We act more than just checking on accounts. We also act as business partners/advisors on clients' internal control through issuing of management letters, etc. We also give value-added services to clients' businesses by providing personalised customer care and advice, e.g. liaison between audit and tax departments on clients' matters. Also, tax planning will be considered in view of field audits by Inland Revenue Board’s officers under the Self-Assessment System.
We believe it is important to have regular contacts with our clients to enable us to understand the management's requirements and concerns.
